Feigenbaum Cleaners is a Certified Green Cleaner with the Green Cleaners Council.
The Council performs an in-depth analysis of a dry cleaner’s operating practices, alternative energy sources, energy conservation, and hanger recycling efforts. Applicants are rated on their total commitment to environmental sustainability programs, including their use of smart energy and water conservation practices.
Feigenbaum Cleaners was one of the first 100 dry cleaners in the United States to adopt the eco friendly System K4, a non-toxic, biodegradable dry cleaning process. System K4 is gentle on your clothes, and gentle on the environment.
Company president Todd Feigenbaum commented, “Our commitment to System K4 is just one part of our environmental commitment. We are constantly looking at new ways to recycle the materials and energy we use. We undertook a major project to install high efficiency lighting in our production facility and our stores. We utilize recycled paper products where possible, and we recycle much of the energy we use.”
